Here is a little more info about what is involved in creating some gorgeous pregnancy and newborn photos:
The Planning-
We believe in genuinely getting to know our clients and listening to their story, before we can begin to plan a photo shoot that truly represents them. So we always begin by getting to know you. We chat, ask you a few questions about you and your partner, how you met, your tastes and the style and decor of your home. With all that information we can plan a shoot that encompasses who you are, help you plan what to wear and create a set of photographs that perfectly match your life.
Your pregnancy shoot-
We can photograph your pregnancy either in our Northbridge studio, or at a location around Perth that is special to you. Drawing on all the things we talked about during the planning, our team will select a lighting set up and background that will enhance your belly and create intimate portraits.
The best time to book your pregnancy shoot is approximately 4-6 weeks before your due date. Your belly looks nice and round, and it is before the baby begins to turn. Please don’t leave your shoot too late, babies do come early. We would hate for you to miss out on these special memories.

Your Newborn Shoot-
Newborn shoots are magical, every one is different. Again we base the style and look on what suits you and what we discussed during your planning session. As a very personal studio, we give you and your baby the time to settle in, feed if you need too, and we take the shoot nice and slowly.
We are often asked what the perfect age is for a newborn shoot. Between 5 and 10 days is perfect for cute sleeping shots. Your newborn will be malleable and easy to gently place into position. At this age young age they will most likely sleep through the whole shoot.

Choosing your photos-
After your newborn photo shoot, we will have a short break and then together with our specialist designer, you will view the photographs from both your pregnancy and newborn shoots and our designer will help you to put together a stunning collection of artworks to begin your visual family history.
